The result of implementing the project “Digital transformation of the enterprise Przemysław Daniel Pastuszak: a change in the business model and implementation of specialized software for advanced computer simulations” is a process innovation within the company. This involves a strategic shift in the business model—from merely providing expert knowledge/labor for selected tasks to other entities, to comprehensively executing innovative projects and developing existing ones.
This includes performing highly advanced finite element method (FEM) numerical calculations and design work directly within the Małopolskie Voivodeship, without involvement from foreign enterprises. Two product innovations (CAD design using Python programming and a database of standard FEM and CAD models) also bear the characteristics of process innovations, as they entail a change not only in the final result (ready-made numerical and 3D geometric models) but also in the process itself.
Internal procedures (including cybersecurity), as well as the method and scope of services offered, have been significantly improved and optimized, increasing efficiency (streamlining business operations while reducing costs). New engineering products in the field of modern technologies have been introduced (models, simulations, tools, applications, visualizations, etc.), enabling a change in relationships and forms of cooperation with existing clients—and more importantly—creating opportunities to acquire new ones.
New Services in the company:
- execution and/or development of advanced coupled simulations/analyses (e.g., thermal-structural, electrical-thermal, etc.) of structures under static, time-varying, dynamic, or fatigue loads using the Finite Element Method (FEM),
- weld assessment using an in-house developed application that complies with international standards such as Eurocode 3, ASME BPVC VIII, ASME III NF, RCC-MRx, ANSI/AISC N690. The purpose of this tool is to meet structural requirements across various industries, including nuclear, chemical, pharmaceutical, and energy sectors,
- use of the Python programming language in the design process of modern structures and components using CAD software, automation and optimization of this process in ANSYS SpaceClaim, and access to a database of CAD models with optimized strength and thermal parameters, low material and energy consumption, minimal environmental impact (including low carbon footprint), and high safety for humans.
